At IU, how can I find out how many people have visited my web page?

At Indiana University Bloomington, due to privacy concerns, access logs on Mypage are not available.

Note: The IU South Bend Mypage service is different from the Mypage service noted here; see IUSB's Web Publishing: Mypage.

To use a web page counter, see the IU Webmaster's Web Page Counter User Guide. Many free access counters are available online; see Yahoo!'s Access Counters page. You can also use Google Analytics to monitor your site traffic.

If your site is served from one of IU's central web servers (e.g., www.indiana.edu, www.iupui.edu, www.iuk.edu, or www.iun.edu), you may use Analog to track your statistics. For more information, see the IU Webmaster's Web Usage Reports page (requires an IU VPN connection).
