What methods can I use to access TeraGrid resources?
Note: The information below assumes you have finished all the initial procedures for getting a TeraGrid allocation. If you have not completed all these steps, see How do I get started using the TeraGrid?
TeraGrid supports three authentication methods:
- Single Sign-On (SSO) using your TeraGrid-wide
password:
- From the TeraGrid User Portal (recommended)
- Using a desktop client (Mac OS X, Unix, Linux, Windows)
- Using non-default certificates
For instructions for each, see the TeraGrid SSO Quick Start.
- SSH2 key pairs; for instructions, see the TeraGrid SSH
with Key Pairs page.
- Site passwords (available on request; not support by all Resource Provider sites); for instructions, see the TeraGrid Site-Specific Passwords page.
