Where are IT Training workshops held, and what are my options for transportation and parking?

Note: The following information is divided by campus. If you are visiting the Bloomington campus from the Indianapolis campus and have a parking permit from your home campus, see the "Regional Campus Parking" section of Permit Eligibility & Registration.

To park in spaces other than those that are metered or in pay lots, you must register your vehicle with the university. This regulation is in effect 24 hours a day.

Some workshops meet at the Cyberinfrastructure Building (CIB) at Tenth Street and the State Road 46 Bypass.

All IUB students, faculty, and staff can ride Bloomington Transit buses for free. Students use their student ID cards as a bus pass. Faculty and staff can request a free bus pass from Campus Card Services; see Free Bus Access for IU Employees.

The Campus Bus system is free to all riders, and serves the Wells Library.

Parking

For a map with applicable IUB parking information, see Facilities Map and Directions.

If you do not have a permit, you can park in a campus pay lot or at a meter.

If you park in the Fee Lane parking garage to attend a IT Training workshop in the Wells Library, notify the workshop instructor, who will stamp your ticket. This will keep your parking charge to $5 or less.

For more information, visit the Office of Parking Operations.
