On IU's research systems, how do I compile my C or Fortran programs using GNU compilers?
On Indiana University's research systems (Big Red, Quarry, and the Research Database Complex), you can compile programs written in C or Fortran using the GNU compilers.
Fortran 77 programs
To compile the Fortran 77 program simple.f, use the
following command:
Use f90 instead of f77 to compile F90
programs.
C programs
To compile the C program simple.c, use the following
