Why did IU change from original Oncourse to Oncourse CL?

By partnering with other higher education institutions in the development of Oncourse CL, IU is able to share costs of development and maintenance while making use of software capabilities developed by other universities. IU retains local control over how we implement Oncourse CL, and it will continue to evolve to meet the needs of IU students, faculty, and staff.
