Login is for authorized groups (e.g., UITS, OVPIT, and TCC) that need access to specialized Knowledge Base documents. Otherwise, simply use the Knowledge Base without logging in.

At IU, how can I receive email about my central server web page?

Your Webserve account cannot receive email directly. However, you can use the associated departmental or group account (i.e., one with the same username as your central server account) to receive email. For example, your group account might have email on the Cyrus mail system. Any email will be delivered there rather than to your account on Webserve.

To make sure that you receive email sent to the account, register a preferred email address for the account; see At IU, how do I register my preferred email address? You can also arrange to forward your mail from that account to another; see At IU, how do I forward my email?

If you do not have an email account, you can create one through the Account Management Service; see At IU, if I already have some computing accounts, how do I get others?

If you do not have an email account with the same name as your web account, you can request one by contacting  valid@indiana.edu .
