ARCHIVED: IU's software agreement with Corel

In 2009, Indiana University negotiated a two-year site license contract for certain Corel WordPerfect software. Corel WordPerfect Office Standard Edition versions X5 and X4 are currently available to all IU students, faculty, and staff at no charge from IUware, and on CD from various IU campus bookstores for $10. Contents include WordPerfect, Quattro Pro (spreadsheets), Presentations, Corel Visual Intelligence SE, WordPerfect Lightning, and WordPerfect Mail.

The IU-Corel License Agreement is perpetual, and thus you may continue to use the software after you leave the university; however, at that point, you will no longer be able to obtain new versions of the software through a bookstore or through IUware.

WordPerfect is available in the Student Technology Centers and Residential Technology Centers. However, it is not available in all departmental labs.
