In Microsoft Outlook, how can I change my default font and color for replies?
To change the default font and color for replies in Outlook:
Outlook 2010
- From the
Filemenu, selectOptions, and thenMail.
- In the "Compose Messages" area, on the right, select
Stationery and Fonts.
- Under the "Replying and forwarding messages" section, click
Font....
- Select the options you want, and then click
OKtwice.
Outlook 2007
- From the
Toolsmenu, selectOptions..., and then click theMail Formattab.
- Under "Stationery and Fonts", select
Stationery and Fonts....
- Under the "Replying and forwarding messages" section, click
Font....
- Select the options you want, and then click
OKtwice.
Outlook 2003
- From the
Toolsmenu, selectOptions..., and then click theMail Formattab.
- Under "Stationery and Fonts", select
Fonts.... If you cannot selectFonts..., you may need to deselectUse Microsoft Word to edit email messages.
- Next to the "When replying and forwarding:" box, click
Choose Font....
- Select the options you want, click
OK, and then clickOKagain.
