In Microsoft Outlook, how can I change my default font and color for replies?

To change the default font and color for replies in Outlook:

Outlook 2010

  1. From the File menu, select Options, and then Mail.

  2. In the "Compose Messages" area, on the right, select Stationery and Fonts.

  3. Under the "Replying and forwarding messages" section, click Font... .

  4. Select the options you want, and then click OK twice.

Outlook 2007

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options... , and then click the Mail Format tab.

  2. Under "Stationery and Fonts", select Stationery and Fonts... .

  3. Under the "Replying and forwarding messages" section, click Font... .

  4. Select the options you want, and then click OK twice.

Outlook 2003

  1. From the Tools menu, select Options... , and then click the Mail Format tab.

  2. Under "Stationery and Fonts", select Fonts... . If you cannot select Fonts... , you may need to deselect Use Microsoft Word to edit email messages.

  3. Next to the "When replying and forwarding:" box, click Choose Font... .

  4. Select the options you want, click OK, and then click OK again.
