What was AppleTalk?
Introduced in 1985, AppleTalk was once the dominant networking protocol for LAN-based Macintosh computers. It was primarily used for file sharing and access to network printers, but has since been replaced by TCP/IP.
Note: AppleTalk and IPX routing are no longer available on the Indiana University network.
