At IU, how can I access medical library databases and full-text journals?
The Ruth Lilly Medical Library (RLML) on the IUPUI campus provides electronic access to medical databases, journals, e-books, and clinical point-of-care tools such as UpToDate. The MEDLINE database is available in two major formats, via Ovid or our full-text linked PubMed, which you must access from the medical library home page. Access these resources from the horizontal toolbar on the Medical Library home page.
You can access other major databases and tools, including EMBASE,
CINAHL, Web of Science, and DynaMed (point of care), from the
Databases link on the top toolbar of the RLML site.
Search for electronic biomedical journals by using the A-Z Journals
link on the main toolbar.
Notes:
-
Campus availability: Not all databases are available
to all campuses.
-
Mobile devices: For information about using a
smartphone or other mobile device, see IUSM
Mobile Resources.
- Off-campus access: If you are connecting from off campus and have not already authenticated to the ADS domain, you will need to enter your Indiana University Network ID username and passphrase.
For any questions about the Medical Library and its resources or medical literature searching, email Ruth Lilly Medical Library Reference or call 317-274-2272.
