Where can I find information about Unix workstation security?

At Indiana University, for personal or departmental Linux or Unix systems support, see At IU, how do I get support for Linux or Unix?

For general security information, see the University Information Security Office web site.

The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) web site provides a great deal of information on securing computer systems. CERT places a special emphasis on Unix-based systems, but also provides information for other operating systems. For more information, visit the CERT web site and Tech Tips and Security Improvement page.

Another useful resource for Unix security is Security Focus (home of the Bugtraq list).
